The Sun Devil Skyrocket
I'll put $20 out that Pat Perez (if he's playing) will explode for at least one round over 76 in Moline. This boy is as lively as a "green zone" market on Friday ni...hell about any time. I dub him TNP, it's TNP, it's dy-no-mite (insert funky music). A round with TNP is like watching WWE pay-per-view (no I have not) 'cept they hit the balls with clubs not chairs and knees. Who among you will write this knot of xmas tree lights a wartime dosage script for Xanax or Ativan? Any takers on TNP holding it together for 72 holes?

He's had back problems all year, so I won't take that unless I get 3 to 1 odds.
Yeah, I have no interest in that one either... but i do love the side action that is developing!
MG... we really need to give you blogger privaleges so you can make your own posts... if you want, shoot me an email so I can send you the invite.

Holly shit. I just saw that DJ finished in a tie for 10th in last year's John Deere! Oh well ---
Well, he also finished like 105th on the money list, but look at him this year.

Perez's blog is cool! I am linking it to our's... definitely worth a read.
No problem... if you decide to put pics of JG dressing up as Baby Huey for Halloween, we'll take those down right away too... and we won't even copy them to our hard drive first. Promise.
PP hasn't :blown up: in a Tour event since the Honda in March 2004.
Funny how a couple events earlier on in his career (where he got fired up over a bad round, shot, etc.) still haunt him.
He's 30 now and this is his fifth year on Tour. Pebble Beach was his second ever PGA event.
His work ethic and workout regimen are as solid as they've ever been. His head is on straight. You aren't going to see a big time meltdown out of this kid... ever. Sorry to disappoint.
shades - PP's injury started out in the elbow and moved to the forearm. Athlete's Performance in Scottsdale helped him determine that it was a back issue. He is in the process of working through it.
Entering last week's Cialis, he had only played 3 rounds of professional golf since his t-3rd finish at Sawgrass in late March. He'll find his groove again. Give it a few week.
Anyone who took PP to blow up last week... not a smart bet.
Sincerely,
Chris Bello

Thanks for stopping by Chris... as you can hopefully tell, this is a blog for a "fantasy golf league" that we have among about 10 guys... we laugh, we cry, we insult... it is never intended to be personal... at the end of the day, we recognize that these guys all have more talent in their little finger than we have in our entire crooked golf swings.
PP wasn't picked by anyone in this year's pool, so I think as a group we are pretty agnostic about him... one guy was just trying to round up some "side action."
Wish PP the best of luck for us.

Chris,
Thanks for the injury info. That's the kind of blog stuff that makes this great. As New Tex said, this is a blog that we started this year for our "homemade" fantasy pool. There are 10 of us, but I don't believe any one person knows all 10.
Anyway, thanks again for the info. Please have PP stop by and make a comment or two. It's fun to have actually PGA Tour players comment on our comments and give us the little stories that make the PGA Tour fun for them and for us.
Best wished for PP this year. He did have a nice 4 days in Chicago last week.
