The 34-year-old Englishman will make his first appearance in Europe in the last 12 months when he tees off in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond on Thursday. But since he was kept out of the Open Championship in hugely controversial fashion last summer and missed out on the first two majors of this season as well, Owen's mind is already turning to Royal Liverpool. Don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back... remember:
1. you are still not "in cash position" this year, despite making a great trade... that suggests your first 7 picks were terrible.
2. even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while.
3. you are 0 for life in the FPGP...
That said, I may need to think up a good Greg Owen bet for next week...
And, I believe the British Open money DOES count for the PGA Tour... it has in the past.
Oh, it counts. But 4,000 GBP does not realyy impact the standings much.
