2007 Prize Pool

Now that all of the trades are in, here is what we are looking at:

The total prize pool is approximately $1,470. I say approximately because there was a service fee on some of your PayPal transactions, and I don't intend to fund the difference.

With our 70/20/10/duffer payouts, we have the following breakdown:

1st place: $959
2nd place: $274
3rd place: $137
Duffer: $100

If we wanted to make a little FPGP trophy, I could probably get that done fairly cheaply and would just take it out of the winner's share. I can't imagine it would be more than $50. Interest?

My hosting fee's were about $30, but I'll take $15 off my 2008 entry fee if that's acceptable with everyone. The hosting fee covered the leaderboards, team roster sidebar, link to stats and some other images.

You're kidding, right? Because if not, don't worry about doing anything with this next year... I can do it all through Google.

I was actually being serious. But if you can do it through google that would be great. I'll keep doing the postings thru the end of the year and in 2008 you can move it over to google. I wasn't aware that we could do that without messing up the page format.

Yeah, Google has a "google spreadsheet" or something to that effect that will suffice... it's basically a way to upload spreadsheet information and hyperlink it.

Now that trades are done and we don't have to put up an update each week, I'll fool around with it... it won't look exactly the same, but it will be good enough.

I like my chances for the duffer honor - go brett quigley, and JG you da bomb!! Solid round today as you lift Murph far from the basement where I am feeling more comfortable!

You're as marginal as your beloved Yankees. Why don't you find a blonde stripper and take her to the Pensacola club that's home to Mike Price's 1 million dollar lap dance?

If Bostonbimma can pull off an FPGP rarity and post back-to-back victories (Pampling in the last group today), he can perhaps put on a charge. I'm proud of my recruit; he just got his short picks mixed up with his long picks. I don't recall this fete ever happening - certainly not recently.

A trophy is fine with me. Another possibility is to have a single trophy or plaque with each winner's name engraved on it ---

Screw trophies. Plaques are for losers.

Keep the pot as filled as possible.

You want a plaque Stevie V., I'll give you one I have from a previous publisher.

Fine. That'll be more money for me this year as my team is poised for a big move to the upside. Unlike your team. my guys are not maxed out!!!

Your team has neither poise nor upside as a group.

You'll be lucky to break baseball's Mendoza Line.

I'll pass the Mendoza line right after the U.S. Open. After that, watch out ---

Screw the Mendoza line....I'm just shooting to keep my team in the black!!!!!

I'm right in the middle of the pack....but some of the best horses start their stretch run from there. I just need to keep Sabbatini and Pampling off the god damn course!!!!
