UPDATE 3/19/07

Here is this week's update... the big mover was Johnny V., by virtue of Rocco Mediate's performance.

As always, if you want a trade to be effective for this week's event, I need an email by Wednesday.

How appropriate, an Arnie-like charge at the Palmer Invitational for Johnny V.!!! And Tex is a Leonard trade away from the lead. This may be a competitive year after all ---

I don't think Johnny V. exists... I think he is your own personal Tyler Durden. Has anyone ever seen Johnny V. and Stevie V. in the same room?

He exists all right. I refer you to the middle of the November 2006 blog for a gathering of da Bandit, me, and Johnny V. (the win, place, and show of last year's FPGP). Now, the odds of us being in the same room and sober is rather small. Add a drink free Bandit to make it a sober threesome and the odds are better for Joel to drive it 300 yards, or to actually say a few syllables on the blog. Where is that f -- ing f -- k?

Timing, Robbo, it's all about timing ,,, also, ask Johnny V. who gets the cash when he finishes in the money. Clue --- it aint me!

Ok, so Johnny V. exists... what the hell happened to Joel? Hell, this stupid pool is named after him, and he never drops by to leave any pearls of wisdom.

Interesting. Steve V. and Buzz Da Rodent appear to be auditioning for spots as Golf Channel commentators. I can picture them sitting next to those former players on the set, who also probably play the "white tees" like those two do.

I guess minus FPGP numbers can do that to you.

hold on... THEY play the white tees also? What the hell is going on with this group? It's a damn affliction!

If we ever do do an FPGP Open, there will be no White Tees, unless those players wear a skort.

In all fairness to Stevie V., Johnny V. (yes, another confirmation of his existence)and I guilted him to playing from the regular tees last summer. He adjusted to the pain admirably. I think Robbo will go along also since he likes hitting his fairway wood (and I do mean wood).

Giggle Giggle... You said wood.
