UPDATE: Bandit Gets Legg Up On The Field

I had a few minutes this a.m., and decided to post an update... DA BANDIT has taken over the lead! Ian Leggett's finish at the International was enough to push the multiple FPGP winner into first place. While Da Bandit has the Legg Up, Robbo's "feets are failing him now." Had Robbo simply stood pat on his trade, he'd be in 2nd place right now...

Here's the non-fancy:

336 ... Da Bandit
315 ... Johnny V.
295 ... Stevie V.
288 ... Robbo/Buzz
269 ... Tiger Philp
226 ... Stevie T./New Tex
208 ... Jumpin Jeff/Shades
177 ... Vic/Talonflier
172 ... Stan the Man
- 72 ... Fraser

People should realize that Robbo's uncle is the guy who traded away Nolan Ryan from the New York Mets to the Angels early in his career.

Are you kidding?

BTW, your recent accelerated climb to the top has caught the attention of FPGP central. We are concerned that you have have doped or enhanced your picks in some way. We will be needing a blood and urine sample... don't make me call you "floyd."

Kidding about the trade, but makes for good copy.

Ian may indeed be on heavy meds as he recovers from carpal tunnel or perhaps he's on the same 'legal' stuff as Giambi. I am concerned that one of my boys may have been drugged to hinder his play.
Chas III appears to have developed a case of Duvalitis - can't hit the fairway and can't putt.

Appreciated your overview on the Vegas golf outing. Brought back memories of Da Rodent/No Justice! death match. Although I have never gone to a hockey game, their putting gave me a deep appreciation for the slapshot. From the left and the right, balls were rolling all over the freaking place.

And not like an NHL player, Excalibur has many sticks... you know that his FPGP moniker comes from the name of one of his (many) putters? It is like listening to Judge Schmeils talk to the old Billy Baroo.

The difference being, Schmeils actually sinks the putt.

I would wager a large sum of money that if you weighted JG's tour bag and Excalibur's bag, Excal's would be heavier.

Can you really call Excalibur's bag a "golf bag"? It's really a beer cooler that holds clubs.

His best "club" used to be this thing that was shaped like a fairway wood... he could flip the top up, and start pumping out mixed drinks. Needless to say, he hit that club better than the rest.
