Toe down

Now that Kuehne decided to play an event, I thought that perhaps Kaye would surface. But no!!! Come on Jonathan, it's gut check time, and I need points!!!

Will you listen to this 'poor nancy' begging pathetically for points across several blogs?

Currently in Kansas City working very hard as you can see, this verbal twitching would be like Buddy Bell pleading "If I only had another starter or two, and a closer, and a leadoff man, who could get on base, and a .300 hitter to move him over, and a home run hitter, then I could win this thing.

Vodoo blew it with his trade. He coulda been a contender fighting it out to the death for the bottom spot with Bostonbimma, Murph, and Da Rodent.

Perhaps his worship of Bacchus gifted him with euphoric expectations?

Speaking of trades, I tried to convince da Rodent to go for last place with a crafty trade but he declined. Snatching a gun from Heston's cold hand is easier than lifting a Jackson from Robbo.

I'll bet da Bandit a bottle of Dewer's White Label that he doens't finish on top the FPGP this year; I'll even throw in a complementary bottle of Taaka for good measure.

You know, it I realize this blog is more fun when Robbo is in the thick of it... it really isn't fun kicking a Rodent when he's down. Plus, we won't get the chance to see someone trade away a chance to finish in the money.

I'm flattered by the Tiger Woods vs. The Field type of bet that stevev is proposing vis a vis my FPGP chances. I don't see myself in such a rarefied light.

As Robbo would say, Show Me the Odds! A bottle of Dewars against a case if I win it all?

Hey Vodoo, if you're looking for a pigeon, take a walk to a local park, there's plenty there.

Otherwise, I'll bet a bottle of Dewars straight up that I'll finish higher than you.

I am an honorable man - the thought never occurred to me to "win" the last place slot until vodo thunk it up...rat bastard. das rat should give boca 3-1 odds on finishing first - that sounds about right.

sure kick me when i'm down, but i'll remind tex that my trade of vj for rocco last year turned out to be inconsequential, fortunately
