It's not you. It's me.

The headline read, "PGA Tour pro fires caddie, hires sub from the gallery". I could only think that this might have meant the end of Lou's love of carrying our buddy's golf bag. But no, it wasn't JG who did the firing. It was was Jay Williamson.

Classic! Caddies are like circus carneys -- sometimes in more ways than one! No, Lew's still around... for today at least :)

This one has to start with the "no offense but..."

No offense but, why isn't Jay Williamson as happy as a clam right now? The guy went from nowhere at all to winning enough money to secure his card for next year. Take a friggin' chill pill dude.

And the whole caddy v. player fight thing... ridiculous. How stupid does the caddy have to be to get in the player's face? How insecure does the player have to be to let it affect their round? Somehow, major league baseball players are able to hit fastballs thrown at 95 mph, with 45,000 fans yelling, but professional golfers get all worked up when their caddy ticks them off, or a camera clicks, etc. This is the reason why so many people see golfers as prima donas, and not athletes.

I'd like to see Jay Williamson play my course on a Saturday afternoon... carts backfiring, waiting on every tee, not perfect greens, no gallery to find your errant shots... My guess is that that the course record would be safe. And if he gave me two a side... ahhh, nevermind.

And, I'm spent.

Well, MG, you can tell JG that if he needs a local up here in Boston to carry his bag for the Deutsche Bank Championship, I am available!!! He will definitely finish higher than last years finish (T76) Either way, I'll be there to cheer him on in the JG gallery!!!

Yay Bimma... if you need tickets, you let me know, okay? The Boston tournament is by far and away one of our most favorite of the year. It's run by fantastic people and is a very fun event. We are so looking forward to heading your way soon.

Seriously, last year we got to go into the Green Monster. I thought my dad (the infamous Murph) and JG were going to die right there.

We'll keep you in mind in case we need a base runner! :) Thanks. Come on Shades, New Tex.. no traveling to Boston to join us (and don't give me that "I have to work" nonsense). Where's the love?

I wish I could... I am actually heading up that way just a couple weeks later for a wedding, so it is hard to justify. And JG knows that if he was in the PGA field, I was going to trek up to Tulsa...

MG, I'd be in Boston at the drop of a hat if I could. I think I've travelled to more cities than Craig Perks over the last 5 months. Maybe next year though. That would be a fun trip.

Pro Golf
Sox Game
Golf.....ahhhhhh.

MG...That would be terrific. There is a group of 5 (myself included) that would love to come out to Norton to cheer on JG. Let me know what I need to do. I very much appreciate your offer. I am currently in San Jose, CA (with da Bandit) at a conference this week.

In 2004, I was on the Monster for game 5 of the Yankees series when Ortiz hit his homer (it went right by my head!!!) to send it back to NY. And, we all know that win started the end of the 86 year drought!! Great view to watch a game!!

Please let me know about the tickets MG. Again, thank you very much for your offer. I look forward to hopefully meeting you in a few weeks!!
