He came back to earth today, shooting -1... meanwhile get the Long John or Johnny Wad Holmes jokes ready.
T - 2, not too shabby, albeit disappointing. Let's put it this way, his +69 for me is more solid than Chrissy "the sissy" Riley's +70 is for his teams at this point in time.
Long John Holmes is incredible. Being from Kentucky, he is not blessed with the capacity for self-reflection. Nothing fazes him.
I find it amusing that he is "JB" Holmes... obviously his PR people don't want the likes of Bill Simmons, Mike Golic, Mike Greenberg, and the rest of the funny sports guys to get their hooks into a "Long John Holmes" reference.
