Phew!

As the FPGPer with only one guy making the cut I was fairly well glued to the end of the Buick. There were a lot of your picks up near the top of the board, but thankfully they all played like Tiger Philp without his much-needed MBP.

Updates have been given to Jeff for formatting... not much change in the ordinal standings, but I can tell you that Da Bandit is currently on pace to score -60 in the pool.

You know better than that. It's much too early to start projecting trends. For the first time this year, my full team, except for my short pick, hits the links this week. Right now, any tub thumping about "a great FPGP year" (read Steve V.)is the equivalent of those vacuous sports radio/bar debates whether the Colts were going to be the greatest team of all time. That answer was obvious from the get-go.

Well Bandit, you have 3 players not on the board yet, which is just about the average... Tiger and Fraser both have three 0s, Stan has 4, I have 2, and there are a few others.

The problem so far is that Rob has both Duval and Geiberger... to date, they are monster picks.

My team has not yet begun to fight, I mean, play well.

Frankly, the only player on an FPGP playing truly impressive anyhow is Loren Roberts. I hope that he keeps winning so that he avoids the temptation of playing in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

What's to say that Duval does not emulate the Psychology major (think about that one boys and all its implications), Jason Gore, and go +48 in his next 12 rounds? He certainly showed that capability last year. And, look at the Gore-like numbers Chrissy "the Sissy" Riley has thrown up in his last 7 rounds.

If I'm still in the cellar after Doral and/or the Honda, I might start to get a bit daunted about my chances. Until then, I am just collecting locker room fodder to dish back later in the year.
