Duffer Award

My first decree ever as Commish... Let's hope the power doesn't get to my head like it did with our Former Commish and his meetings with the so-called "Central Committee". Since we were going to give $100 back to the last place finisher anyway, I think this will be reasonable.

THE DUFFER AWARD - 2007

The FPGPer with the lowest point total at the end of this year will get a "free roll" into next year's FPGP.

So it is written; so it shall be done.

I look forward to getting my $100 back at the end of the year. Now that I see everyone else's picks, I realize mine will likely end up "right in the lumber yard"...Good luck to everyone!!

Tim, I assume that is you?

It won't be $100 back... it is a credit for next year.

I think your chances are as least as good as the Peyton Manning winning the Super Bowl this year.

Gulp.

Yep, it's me....Free entry to next FPGP season is like getting $100 back!! As for my good 'ol friend Peyton Manning, words in your post that DO NOT belong together: "Peyton" "winning" "Super Bowl". I mean, where will they find a place for that banner next to all the other "AFC South Champion" banners at the RCA Toilet (I mean Dome) that they so proudly display???

Tim, I swear... you and me must be brothahs from anothah mothah. Shades too. This Blog could definitely emerge as an anti-Colts blog.

BTW, I like the Chiefs and the points this weekend... how the hell are the Colts going to stop them?

That's right brothah!! I like KC too. The only way Indy can stop them is with their "run defense"...ha ha ha ha ha that's funnier than Peyton's mastercard commercials!! Can never have too many people as anti-Colt (ites)!!

Yeah, calling that a run "defense" is like calling what the Cowboys offer a pass "defense." Here I am stuck in the Big D with a bunch of yahoos who actually think Roy Williams is worth of the All-Pro selection. This is the guy who in pass coverage looks likes as lost as a someone driving through lower manhattan when his Tom Tom goes out.

The Jets make me a little nervous though... If I were a betting man, I think I'd grab the 8.5 points there.

I tried to email you an invite to the blog so you can make your own posts, but your email kept bouncing back... did you get it? If not, send me an email so I know what address to use.

I didn't get any email from you. I will send you an email now to make sure. My work email would be best, as I try to spend as little time on the PC outside of work!

Yeah, the Jets scare me a little too! But, I cannot see the student beating the teacher again...especially now that its playoffs. I'll be there, probably drunk as a skunk...but it should be a great atmosphere! Dallas can't beat Detroit when it means something, they are a joke, as is most of the NFC this year for that matter!! If I were you, I'd start rooting for the Stars!!

Just stopped in to visit the blog and expected to see a bunch of "Oh, Billy Billy!" Billy Baroo comments. (BTB, Vodo has a photo of Da Rodent's putting prowess at Johhny V's charity golf tournament that I am certain will find its way onto the blog eventually - truly astounding). What a surprise to see the comments devoted to the "Picasso of Choke Artists" (Google it if you've never seen that piece). Agreed. I think the Colts pass defense might force K.C. to run for 375 yards this week a la Jacksonville.

Bostonbimma, don't forget those 3 impressive AFC Wildcard banners that hang in the Colts Barn!

I'll have my $$ on KC and the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets (but only because they are getting 8 1/2).

Bimma... i am terribly jealous. I'll be at home with a [gasp] Jets fan who also doubles as my wife. Which is to say, I may be drunk off my ass as well.

boca Bandit...that's right, I forgot about those banners! Colts run defense is almost as good as those "Colt dogs" we enjoyed at the game! I see Larry Johnson running from Indy all the way to San Diego without stopping!!

Shades... my $$ is on KC, but I'm going with Pats minus the points. Tough to sit at the game with money on C-R-A-P (Jets, Jets, Jets). Teacher shows student that wins in regular season don't mean sh*t come playoff time!!

New Texan...Did you miss that on the pre-wedding questionaire??? Sounds like you and I may need to take the same sobriety test after the game (no matter which way it ends up!!).

no, i knew she was a nyer and a fan of all things NY... however, we started dating in the summer of 04... we were at Game 6 (schilling's sock) of the ALCS... basically, New York teams are 0-fer since we've been together, so it is ok.
