by the way, if he is going to keep tossing up 78s on resort courses, you may need to change your post title from the definite artile "the" cut to the indefinite "a" cut.
don't count those chickens yet... he might be able to put up a string of 74s and make $20,000.
seriously, if this dude falls off the rada ala Garrett "One and Done" Willis, you will have eternal bragging rights over Jeff.

Actually, the beauty of the FPGP is throwing the bold predictions made in January back people's face. See my "Duval Effect" post from last year. Grrr.
Speaking of "one and done," let us not forget ole Perksy. I don't know what Jeff was smoking or drinking when that name came out of the hat, but I sure would like some of that stuff for the next long weekend.
Perks has little downside. He may also have even less upside.
As for ol' Ax, he missed 12 of his first 17 events last year. He then went on a streak with a 1 and T3 over the last 10 tournaments he played in. My hopes is that with the "bonus" money he wins this weekend and IF he can make a few more cuts, he could actually do better this year than last.
Of course, he could be one of the few on my team that were picked by my assistant, Sam Adams.
Just read where Perks my never play a PGA event ever again. Information that I could have use last week. I guess I should have shorted him. Looks like my first trade could be Perks for Beck. Not a better golfer, but certainly a much slower golfer.

A few guys put up a few 80's last year (I won't mention names), but the payoff for last was 70K. Now if he can just make some cuts...
70k??? Wowwwwwww... that will be a whole point! I am sure that will be the difference this year.
Fred Funk shot a 2nd round 82 there last year. He did ok.
Keep dreaming Shades... I think your title of "only player with more than 1 year experience but no cashes" is safe again.
BTW, speaking of cash... I have Vijay, Immelman and JB Holmes on the PGA Tour fantasy bet... looks like your butt is being kicked there too! d'oh!
Look out for Couch. No not the one you ass is sitting in, but Couch who is just a few shots off the lead.
