FPGP Audit

Another possible mistake was noted in this week's FPGP Scoreboard. Looks like you frigging vultures at the top are finally paying attention to my math. Well, at least you can't accuse me of trying to benefit myself...

Don't expect an update next week... I am going to spend a couple hours making sure the spreadsheet is adding things correctly... I am also going to double check the "starting positions" that are listed on the spreadsheet, although I am 99.5% sure they are correct.

It's da Bandit's fault; always is.

I was just about to make a Geiberger post... you are like a bad case of the crabs... just can't get rid of you. Or, so I am told.

You can't say "I will be low scorer" and also "gimme 2 per side." Hell, I would be low scorer at the Masters if they gave me 15 a side.

Yes, but "low scorer" does not mean doesn't have an asterisk that then reads "assuming you give me strokes."

It's a 2 man team event, lugnut. And a hacker playing out his own ball will slow play up and make the Cajuns (and the Slavs) very angry - especially if they have enough firewater in them. Aa angry as the animals in the Bronk Zoo are at the 1-8, 3 strikeouts today, $25 million dollar, good looking, biracial creature among them.

Besides, I might buy a beggar a Big Mac, but I'm not giving him 2 a side on a freakin' Executive course. How shameless is that to plead for shots from a once a week player? How proud would your ancestors, as portrayed in Good Fellas, be of this attempt at mooching?

This annual classic is more about stamina, discipline, and survival than golf. Da bandit succumbed to a large Dewers on the back nine and went AWOL, but managed to sink a 10-footer for birdie on the last hole, blind as a bat. That's talent. I'm not sure da Rodent has the moxy for this event but we'll see.

The "large Dewars" was indeed a stadium cup filled to the brim by a sultry young lady. What the hell was I to say with a bunch of Cajuns in line behind me "Oh please, not for me, I just want one of those itty-bitty little plastic cups?" In any case, I was AWOL only for the last 4 holes, compounded by almost getting beaned by a 3 metal shot while waiting to hit a wedge into a par 5. As Vodo indicated, this annual classic is quite a test of a wide range of skills and I needed to steady my nerves. :-)

That settles it... we need an FPGP golf outing. It has to happen. Jeff and I will start pressing for a date after this season... we need to lock it in and commit. Someplace in Florida... maybe end of summer (so the poor academics don't miss any of their normal 10 hour work weeks). Maybe the RTJ Trail?

This needs to be done.

I second this idea. I've played a few of the RTJ courses are they are excellent (cheap too Robbo, assuming you can recoup your losses from the Yankee bets). And they aren't too long so Philp can be competitive; at least against da aforementioned Rodent ---
