I'm conviced it is Jason and his wife that have blogged here. He seems to be the bigger "no offense" man here. For the trash talk we have put on him, he seems to be a cool guy, with an cool wife. I'm sure I've written a few things, and for that I appologize. I hope you can understand it was just fun amongst the guys in the FPGP and not really a personal thing.
Hittem' long and straight, except for the doglegs.

Well, we still need definitive proof, i.e., a nice pic w/ you and JG with an FPGP sign... that would seal it for me.
I have to jump on the "oops... sorry..." bandwagon too, assuming this is the real Gore family.
Megan, how well does he know Fred Funk? As it turns out, one of the FPGPers knows Fred pretty well...
Also... when you were in Dallas for the Nelson... where did you stay?
If it is you guys for real, consider "dinner on the FPGP" next year when you are in town... we are decent guys... frustrated golfers with biting/sharp wits and a little too much time on our hands occasionally... we'll make it up to you...
IF IT IS YOU.
For the record FPGPers, this is what we know so far:
1. The wireless router explanation of the "Gore's" IP address is correct. Shades and I tested it...
2. The pics are pretty compelling... I wasn't able to find them online with a cursory search.
3. The last pic of "Megan" is the most compelling... it certainly looks like the real Megan Gore, and I can't imagine it being photoshopped.
4. In her commentary, she said Jason was playing golf at some little executive course... well, Shades and I did due diligence on that one. There is an executive course in their hometown... Shades called it, and in fact the pro shop confirmed that Jason plays there.
So, this is either the most ridiculous waste of time/elaborate hoax on a random blog in history, or we have the Gores reading us.
The requested picture will seal it for me...
I called and asked if he played there. I didn't want to ask more than that.
Well, looks like I'll be in Dallas for the Nelson next year. 1st drink is on my JG and MG.
Let's refer to them as JG and MG so as to keep some privacy for them.
Good point Shades...
Friday before a long weekend... we have the time for excessive due diligence.
I have a great idea for a web cam shot... clearly you have hard copy pictures of JG around the house... hold one up, snap a picture, and I will be very, very convinced...
Cool River is a given...
Or... a picture of a trophy with JG's name... that would do it too.
All I can say is... Gulp.
Well, clearly you are MG, and clearly it was JG... sorry for the harshness... like Jeff said, it is not at all personal... if you read the blog, it doesn't just involve him... we just like to make each other laugh.
A few things:
1. As the leader of this band of monkeys, I am declaring a moratorium on all ButterTits comments... if they come in, I will delete them... we will still poke fun of course, but we will tone down the harshness.
2. We'd LOVE to have the webcam shot of the two of you (or just JG) with an FPGP sign... that would be super frigging cool.
3. JG has to be one of the coolest guys on the planet, to read that stuff and still be cool... I am amazed... moreso, I feel even worse for the comments.
4. If he plays the Nelson (or Colonial...), we are taking y'all out to dinner. I am in Dallas (Plano) and will be thrilled to do so.
5. You guys rock.
This back and forth has been mesmerizing all day. I did what any good Polish white boy would do when faced with a daunting report to prepare by Monday. I got positively obliterated last night. Thanks to our possible new brush with fame I've been going back and forth all day to learn whether this was an elaborate hoax or not. So now I'll be in the salt mines until 9 tonight.
Okay. Truth be told, the nasty digs at JG really were more to get under the skin of the FPGP players who selected him than anything else. He should feel good in the fact that so many folks took him, although it may have been a jinx for him in the end. Similar to my comrades, I now have the sheepish look and lost feeling I had when I was a teen at a Jesuit Prep School and the Dean of Men would look at me in my proverbial seat on the bench outside his office and ask "How could do such a thing,"i.e.,just what kind of sick bastard are you! I totally support the moratorium and apologize for the nastier comments that I wrote.
This is a great new day with some very interesting potential, especially if JG plays New Orleans. Johnny V., Vodo's brother who's in the FPGP, owns a great bar called The Monkey Hill in NOLA.
Vodo, Da Rodent, and I pretty much hung out there during the tournament this year which coincided with Jazz Fest. This is an annual pilgrimage for Vodo and me. Since JG and MG are such great sports, it would be very easy for us to gather an enthusiastic (read working on being 3 sheets to the wind) group to follow him. But you have to make it to the weekend, JG. :-) Johnny V, who had been the "general manager" at Clancy's, a great NOLA restaurant off the beaten track up near Audubon Park,is in the process of getting a food license for the bar so there's another dinner fot The Gs. In any case, the wine selection is excellent. Plus, NOLA blues legend Luther Kent (and Trickbag) play in Johnny's bar on Jazz Fest weekends and usually have some of the Chickenhawks from the Dallas/Ft. Worth come in to accompany the group.
Au revoir. Back to producing a narrative report in an Excel spreadsheet format. The genius of the corporate world never ceases to amaze me.
