Update Coming...

Jeff said he should be able to make the fancy update posts again, so I am going to let you wankers wait until he gets to it... that being said...

There is a change at the top of the leaderboard. Apparently, Robbo's feet have begun to fail him.

I see that Phil Tataurangi is in the field this week. Robbo and I had this piece of dog meat last year when he managed to not play a single event ---

Robbo lead will fade away, like his tee shots.

THERE IT IS... Another FPGP JINX comment. First we had Rob's "feets don't fail me now" which has cost him about 120 points in the standings. Then it was the "hearing footsteps" blog from Stevie V., which lead to him dropping a spot in the rankings. Now we have Da Former Commish trying to jinx his way home.

Interesting banter, especially because it's coming from people well-skilled at choosing players who are MIA. Can you say Scott Hoch? I am amazed at such talent that not only has one picking someone who, if ever present and accounted for, has a major medical exemption, but also someone who turned 50 last year. Gentlemen, hats off to Da Rodent (back-to-back years replacing Vodo as the master of this repeat - Oh say can you say Bob May) and to Excalibre for that pick. I guess Excalibre was looking for a seasoned vet/Has Been to stedy the nerves of his team of "Never Will Bees." It should be quite a battle when Hoch locks horns with Loren Roberts in the U.S. Open this year (sorry, U.S. SENIOR Open). I hope your guy wins, gents.

Well, the Hoch pick is not as awful as the Gore pick will end up being... Hoch can't really cost anything... if he never plays, he will be close to a push.

Roberts on the other hand... he can be a bit of a wild card. Look again Bandit, Robbo SHORTED L. Roberts, which functionally means we all have him as an UP pick. The more money Roberts makes, the more points Robbo loses... so we should all hope that he takes the confidence he has gained on the Senior Tour and play in a dozen or so events on the real Tour. If nothing else, we can expect him at the US Open and PGA... one big finish in either of those and Robbo's short pick is sunk.

Speaking of which, how could any of you wankers short anyone other than Fred Funk? I figured that was as obvious as Els.

Stevie T., have you had an eye exam recently. I shorted Roberts again this year. Robbo threw the dice with Bart Bryant. Loren won't be at the U.S. Open this year - he willl be NEXT year after he wins the Senior Open this year. And I'm not too worried about him doing anything crazy in the PGA. He can cause problems for me at the St. Jude and the Southern Farm (my Waterloo last year when he tied for second) which are close to home for him, but I don't see him playing in a dozen events. There's too much EASY money for him on the senior tour.
