CUT IT OUT!
Uh, have you seen your swing? Seriously dude... you can't play like this at Augusta. Can't do it. Not for four days. So, let's make a deal... how about you continue to score well for a few more holes, and then you just tank. Everyone will understand, because your swing looks like it is taking place in a phone booth. You'll still have great stories to tell the grandkids... "back in 07, I was leading The Master's halfway through the 2nd round... then I shot 80-82, but that's not important."
Anyway... just start playing like that swing should dictate...
Kthanks,
Steve

New Tex, I applaud your brave attempt to change his mojo. I'm trying to do some productive work today and can't get this irritant off my mind. I think I'll have to watch him at Amen Corner. Maybe Excal can start following him.
"trying to do some productive work today"? Come on bandit...we know that is not true!!
He needs to go Rocco on us... seriously, I don't think anyone in FPGP history has picked a short guy who went on to win a Major. This could be disasterous.
It would be the anti-Leonard move.
Yeah, bostonbimma, I'm busy working on a plan whereby I go out to the Botany/Plant Biology conference in Chicago a day early, so that I can set up Sunday morning and be in my seat with a beer and a dog watching batting practice for Sunday afternoon's White Sox/Twins game.
Focus, Focus, Focus.
Bandit...I've already made my plans for that show!! I'll be at the ChiSox/Twins game with beer in hand by high noon planning for the Sun PM welcome mixer!!! Let me know if you are going to be there.
This is why Willy Loman never made it... he didn't take time to get drunk at baseball games before conventions.
If you travelling dudes ever find your way down to DFW, give me a heads up.
Good point NT. But then again, maybe that's why 'ol Willy died in "death of a salesman".
HE DIES??? Thanks for ruining the ending!
Haha...funny. That reminds me of a friend of mine when we were talking about the movie "The Passion of the Christ". He got pissed off and told us to stop talking about it because he hadn't seen it yet!! You would have thought we told him there was no Easter Bunny...oh dammit...sorry!!
Yeah, tought to ruin the plot with the Passion... it's just flogging for 2 hours. Not real great on the dialogue either.
The easter bunny is leaving me a round of golf on sunday... between living in a very religious red state and a cold front coming in, I may have the course to myself!
Bostonbimma,-- my lovely colleague from our U.K. office - whom you might remember held her own at The Flying Saucer and The Tap Room on Beale St. - will be there. I am certain it will her first baseball game.
I loved the old Comiskey - damn shame they tore down that unique piece. Hope this park has interest.
Actually New Tex, we're more like Alec Baldwin in Glengarry, Glenross. You need brass balls to do what we do.
Now, if Brett W. can post a 78-78 this weekend and get out of our lives, all will be well.
Well, Wett tried to give it back a little bit. 78-79 would be wonderful. Almost as nice as the 79-80 that Excal's pick (Allenby) put up.
Bandit...I'll have a colleague from the UK as well... But, HE is certainly not as lovely as your colleague!! I took him to a Blue Jays/Angels game a few years ago in Toronto at a show...so he isn't a rookie anymore. But, I won't mind explaining the finer points of the game to your colleague though!!! Yes, I do remember her holding her own down in Memphis!
You'll have to wear your Big Papi or Manny jersey!
It's a given Bandit...BoSox shirt on and cheering for the visiting Minnesota Twinkies!! Perhaps I can stir up a ChiSox fan just like that Peyton Manning wannabee!!! Although, maybe I shouldn't considering we will have 'respectable' colleagues with us this time!!!
I repeat... if you travelling dudes ever end up in Dallas, let me know.
Of course, the people here will need to learn to read first... so it may be a while before they need books.
I don't know about the cheering for the Minesota Twinkies part. You may be on your own there. This ain't the sterilized RCA Dome. Just ask a former first base coach (Kansas City Royals?). I think that father/son tandem is probably out of the slammer by now.
New Tex, bostonbimma is a plant instrumentation guy. Maybe he can sell you some sort of contraption for your yard. :-)
how about some grass that doesnt require water? frigging drought...
