Zero Hour

Just a few more hours remain to get those picks in without penalty... so far I have 10 teams in, and I am expecting at least three more (Stan the Man, and two two-headed newbie teams), and quite possibly a small fistfull more after that. Shades has decided to hedge his bets by entering TWO teams this year, one for him and one for his kids. This is not unprecedented, as Excal has done this in the past as well.

If anyone else wants to enter a 2nd team, by all means, just let me know. And no, you do not get a discount for refering yourself.

I'll be in Phoenix for a couple weeks starting on Sunday, but will try to get all the rosters set up and sent to Jeff for posting this weekend.

Good luck everyone.

  1. For the record, Robbo's were not the last picks sent to me...

We are currently 14 strong, not counting Timmy, and I think we may still get a couple more. Could be close to $2,000 in the pot by the time all the trades are done!

Oh, and after seeing some of your genius picks, I absolutely hate mine. I'll go on record right now saying there is no way I cash in this thing this year.

  3. bandit is trying to track him down... there may be a family emergency or something going on, so we'll figure it out when we here back from him.

  4. I suspect that Robbo (da Robbin' Rodent???) stole some of my "genius" picks. Why take some of MY picks you ask? Good question.

    Is Bimma going to play?

  12. Yeah, it's on... and I expect the trash talking to reach a new high water mark this year. We've got a nice crop of rookies who have donated their money to us, and they are not at all shy.

Right now, we have 16... that's all I expect to get, other than Tim's picks... assuming they come in.

  13. Looks like a banner year for the FPGP. For the record, I like my chances in 2008. Let the games begin!!!

  14. "I like my chances", says the everlovin optimist. I'd put him at 25-1 to win the pool given his handicapping history.
