  1. I gotta root for my FPGP mentor......
Let's go Bandit, let's go...let's go Bandit, let's go!!!! (maybe that will get me a Dewars or two in Chicago when I see him in a couple weeks!!). Doubt it!!

  2. Too early to tell, but I think I have a decent grip on Excal in our bet as well...

I expect to see 75+ out of the 'Lil Grinder today (Toms).

  3. And seriously... could Paul Casey please show up during a first round of a major? He goes 77 yesterday, and is -4 thru 8 holes today. He may be the best 54 hole major player in the game... dumb limey.

  4. What do you expect New Tex...Casey is a stooopid Brit!! 4th of July is right around the corner... he is just doing it to piss you off!!!

    Toms shoots 73 or better!!

  6. sweet... 73 you win... 74 I win...

This is the easiest side bet since Jeff was trying to drum up business for the Michelle Wie Fan Club earlier this season.

  7. I don't even like him...but for giggles it will get me in on the side action!! Hopefully, I don't end up "Wie"ing in the wind!!

  8. Well, it is a bit of a bloodbath out there... and he goes almost last today, when the greens will be like cement. 73 would be super human out of the 'Lil Grinder.

    We'll see.

  9. I mean, outside of bogeys on 5 out of his last 6 holes...he had a great round yesterday... I am hoping that he gave himself a good pep-talk last night!!! Either that, or its only a 12 hour drive from here...I'll go heckle him during his backswings during tomorrow's round (if he makes the cut!!).

  10. Just looking at the scores this morning... I don't know that you'd find a lot of rounds of 73 or lower in the afternoon when it is firmer/faster.

    We'll see...

Jason Sobel just said on his blog that a 5 handicapper would have a hard time breaking 100 out there today. Yikes.

  12. Take it easy NT...still very early...Buuuuuuuuuuut, Mr. Toms is cruising through the front side MUCH MUCH better than he played it to finish yesterday!!!! For that,I have to be pleased... Now, hopefully he doesn't go into a 'June Swoon' like our beloved Red Sox and tank the back side!!!

  13. Damn that Lil Grinder...

Wanna make it double or nada on o/u 73 for toms for tomorrow?

  14. NT...just getting on here from yesterday. WOW....with a bogey on 18, Toms pulls it out!! Sweeeet...

Yes, I will do double or nothing on Toms today (saturday). Can lightning strike twice??!!

Now, let's go Dice-K and the BoSox for 2 in a row. And, hopefully, my close friend Tommy Glavine (Billerica, MA native -- my hometown)...can stymie the Spankees today for win # 296!!!

  15. Yeah timmy... don't start talking about some June Swoon for the Sox... for fuck's sake, they are 8.5 games up.

Done and done on the bet.

The 'Lil Grinder could end up costing me a Lotta Money this week.
